Frequently Asked Questions
Can adults go on the inflatables?
Unfortunately not, Unless you have hired an “Adult “ inflatable they are not permitted. The Adult bouncy castles are made differently with higher beds and higher walls to accommodate adults or “big kids”. If adults use our inflatables and they get damaged, it is the responsibility of the hirer to pay for any repairs or replacements.
How much space is needed for a bouncy castle?
In the ideal scenario, you need a 3ft gap each side of the castle, This give us enough room to pin it down and ensures the castle is not going to hit anything if you bounce into the side. At the rear of the castle you need around a 5ft gap for the blower to go. In front of the castle you need to make sure you have a clear area so children can get on and off safely.
Do I need to supply anything?
We need access to power to plug in our extension lead. Preferably bringing the lead from a window and not a door to avoid the cable being trapped/damaged should the door get closed and avoid a trip hazard. We carry 20mtr and 40mtr extension leads on the van. Please let us know at time of booking if the inflatable will be further away from an electric point so we can discuss other options.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. We have £5 million Public Liability insurance. This covers you when we are delivering/collecting the inflatable, setting up and pulling down, if the unfortunate was to happen and we should damage any of your property, you have peace of mind that you can claim off our insurance. But we are very good at what we do and take extreme care and caution. Once the castle is erected, we will run through a few basic safety checks, pointing out any risk areas and ask you to sign a copy of our terms and safety procedures. Once we have left the site, the supervision of the inflatable and it’s users is down to the hirer.
What if it’s raining on the day?
Unfortunately we cant control the good old British weather however if its raining on the day of your party don't panic, all of our castles have built in rain covers. Extra caution will be necessary getting on and off the inflatable though as they can be slippy when wet. All we ask is that you leave the inflatable up and most of the rain with run off and not soak inside, and as soon as it stops raining, dry it off with an old towel and you’re ready to go again. Alternatively if you would like to cancel your booking please give us 24hours notice for a full refund.
Are the inflatables tested?
Yes, All of our inflatables are checked before and after every hire along with monthly & Annually tested By One of our Competent staff.
Do you offer a later collection time?
Yes. If your party is going on later you can pay a £20 Late Collection Fee. This applies to bookings being collected after 6:30pm.
Do you offer Overnight hire?
Yes, All we ask is that the blower, extension cable and sound system is unplugged and kept indoors. The castle will then be collected first thing in the morning unless it is a full weekend hire. However we will not allow it if the weather is bad.
If I have to cancel is my deposit refundable?
Unfortunately all deposits are non-refundable regardless of circumstances. However we will allow you to move your booking to another date where possible.
